Opening Day of Trout Season

More ceremony than necessity (after all, most of our rivers are open year-round), Opening Day is still special.  Trout camps fill up, traditions are maintained or established, and sometimes even a few trout are caught.  This year is a late Opener, but it’s also a late spring.  It might just line up to be a hendrickson weekend after all.
